A look at the night glow from last yearOnce again we took a trip down to see the RHS Rosemoor night glow near, this was our first visit to see this years glow. As we are members, and it is only 5 miles down the road from Moorparks, we do visit often to see the seasonal changes.
The night glow gives it something special so is a wonderful time to visit.
RHS Rosemoor, near Torrington North Devon, has approx. 65-acres of beautifully planted gardens and stunning landscapes. These beautiful, formal and informal gardens and woodland, are full of autumn colour. Every season brings out something different in each of the display areas.
SculpturesI think this is the third year we have been, we visit the glow a few times each year as you never see all of it during one visit. The sculptures set amonst the planting is an added bonus. There are some ‘interesting’ pieces, something for all tastes. I’m not if all sculptures are for sale, but most have details and prices on so there’s a chrismas precent sorted! (although for some, you may need to save up!)
Tickets are available from RHS Rosemoor but you can just turn up and pay.
Moorparks Holiday Cottages are only a few minutes down the road from RHS Rosemoor. We have two, two bedroom, modern well equipped cosy cottages (with log burners) which have their own gardens too. Our ‘evening glow’ may not be quite as impressive but the cottages are a lovely place to stay when visiting RHS Rosemoor and North Devon.
