The Sheepdog display at Borough Farm is a Farmyard show in Woolacombe. We spent yesterday evening there with friends, Cathy and Stuart. The journey up, along the coast, is a great drive with so much to see. This was the last show of the year but is usually on every Wednesday evening from May to September. The show started off with a falconry display and then moved on to the sheepdog display their skills with both sheep and ducks. There were quite a few people and everyone seemed to enjoy the evening. There is food and drink also on offer.
A great evening if the weather is good and all the kids seemed to love it.
Look closely and you will see the Harris Hawk mid flight
You should be able to see the Kestrel, but may be looking at the stunning view or sea
Food and drinks on site, A great evening
Borough Farm also do a Farmyard show (which I think is aimed at the younger audience) and a ‘Experience Shepherding Walk’.
The farm is less than 30 miles from Moorparks Holiday Cottages
along the North Coast. On a nice day this is a great way to finish off a nice day at the beech.
