Moorparks Holiday Cottages North Devon
Moorparks Cottages, your perfect holiday accommodation to explore Devon
A perfect position to explore the North Devon coastline and its many beaches, but within easy reach of Dartmoor, Exmoor and mid Devon. Moorparks holiday cottages are located near Beaford, Winkleigh, North Devon. The local pub is less than a mile and serves great food, often with a local band in the evenings. Travel a few more miles are there are pubs, restaurants and takeaways. There are plenty of nearby attractions to keep you busy with two golf courses within a 15 minute drive, fishing, climbing and loads for the kids. Moorparks cottages are two, well presented, two-bedroom cottages within the grounds of the original Grade-II listed farmhouse all of which sit within 12 acres, part of which is still farmed. Both cottages have their own private garden, outside eating areas and garden furniture. On site are our pet alpacas, chickens, famous ducks and sheep. We also have our breeding flock of ‘rare breed’ Greyface Dartmoor sheep.

Looking for something to do in Devon ?The North Devon coast is a 30 minute drive, Exmoor and Dartmoor a 40 minute drive. Devon is great for all your outdoor activities including walking, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, rock-climbing. Being so close to the North Devon coastline there is also the chance of sailing, caving, swimming in the sea and surfing. However there’s also plenty to do for those with a more relaxed approach to nature and the great outdoors! The cottages are only a few minutes’ drive to RHS Rosemoor and the town of Great Torrington, where you can easily join the Tarka Trail. The Tarka Trail stretches over 30 miles and is great for walking and cycling, bikes can be hired in Torrington (we have a bike shed if you bring your own).
Or….just sit on the decking with a glass of wine surrounded by the animals.
